Job DescriptionDevelop and implement training and competency development strategies aligned with automotive industry standards and company business objectives.Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for factory, engineering, quality, production, and supporting functions.Prepare and manage the annual training plan covering technical, safety, quality, leadership, and compliance training.Lead and oversee technical training programs related to manufacturing processes, automotive quality systems, production standards, and continuous improvement.Coordinate and manage internal trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external training providers, including principals or global partners.Ensure effective onboarding Develop and improve training materials, SOP-based modules, and training delivery methods (classroom, OJT, shopfloor coaching, LMS).Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, certification results, audit outcomes, and productivity/quality indicators.Manage and control the training budget efficiently, including vendor and training facility management.Ensure training compliance with labor regulations, occupational safety (HSE), and automotive industry requirements.Prepare regular training reports and provide strategic recommendations to management to support workforce capability and plant performanceCoordinated with global team
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Psychology, Education, or a related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, quality systems, and shopfloor operations.Proven experience in technical training, competency mapping, and certification systems.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work with factory, engineering, and management teams.Experience managing training budgets and external training vendors.Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.Able to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.Fluent or proficient in English (written and spoken), especially for coordination with regional or global teams.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or TPM.Certified Trainer / TOT / BNSP or equivalent certification.Experience using LMS, HRIS, or digital training platforms.
