    Job Role / Job OverviewElectronics Engineer role reports to the Engineering Manager.
    Key Responsibilities for this roleDesign electronic components, software, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, or scientific applications.Design and develop custom robotic solutions to address specific shop floor challenges. Utilize AutoCAD 3D software and simulation tools to model and design. Work out the schematic diagram and Gerber files.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source right components and materials, such as PCBA and IC chips.Interface with manufacturing and production for board changes, debugging and testing needsConduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutionsProvide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of EV charging systems and test equipment.Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipmentEvaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repairAnalyse customer needs and determine electrical system requirements, capacity, and cost to develop a system plan.Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance.Initiate new forward-looking effort on design innovation to achieve better measurements methodology.Keep up with industry and familiar with new standard coming up and provide recommendation to upgrade existing equipment/procedure to meet project needs.Assist in supporting the daily Engineering Operation in High-speed line
    Education & Industry Experience requiredMin.     About the RoleReporting to Costing Manager, Operations Finance.
    ResponsibilitiesInventory Carrying cost analysis and identify procedures to optimize freight and inventory costs.Do breakdown analysis on FPO and identify opportunities for cost reductionsPrepare and maintain open book costing for each required customer quotes in a timely manner.Co-ordinating with internal stakeholders (Sourcing, Quote Team and Engineering) to drive faster turnaround quotationCreate costing worksheet accurately and reflect each cost components cost based on assumptions for review with management.Develop and implement documents, processes, procedures and structures that ensure compliance and consistency across the business.Able to gather and interpret the costing sheet provided by RFQ team and analyses variances with relevant team members.Able to conduct detailed analysis to evaluate the historic pricing, BoM, cycle times and margin trends (current vs previous) and the product & price changes between multiple quotes.Maintain and develop key performance measures and tracking systems on changes and key assumptions on each customer’s quote.Builds strong working relationships with R&D, Finance, and Operations partners and management.Perform any other related projects/tasks as the need arises by the management.
