💡 The RoleYou will design and own end-to-end computer vision & biometric systems — from model behavior to production reliability.This is not a research role. This is engineering for real-world constraints: false positives, latency, edge cases, and system failure.
🧠What You’ll Work OnFine-tuning and stress-testing Computer Vision models in imperfect, real-world dataReducing false positives / false negatives in production systemsBuilding face recognition & liveness detection systems that are robust against edge casesDesigning data pipelines and schema aligned with system behaviorWriting tests for non-deterministic systems (AI evaluation, not just code correctness)Deploying and debugging systems in live environments (Docker-based)Iterating based on real-world performance, not offline metrics

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer in PIK2 North Jakarta. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of modern web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using Next.js and FastAPI. Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, optimizing application performance, security, debugging, resolving software issues, and ensuring reliability across the system.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in Back-End and Full-Stack Web Development.Hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications using Next.js/ReactDevelop backend services and APIs with FastAPI and Python.Design and implement REST APIs and backend architecture.Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.Write efficient SQL queries for data processing and reporting.Build responsive UI with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.Optimize system performance and database queries.Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldRelevant professional certifications are highly desirableProficient in React/Next.js, FastAPI, Python frameworks, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSSStrong SQL skills and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQLFamiliar with GitHub and modern development workflowStrong problem-solving and communication skillsDetail-oriented and willing to learn in a fast-paced environmentWilling to work on-site.
