  • Shift Electrical  

    - North Cikarang

    The Shift Electrical Technician/Team Member is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, control, power distribution, and instrumentation systems supporting the glass coating line to ensure safe, stable, and low-downtime operations.
    This role works on a shift basis to ensure continuous equipment and utility availability for the coating process (e.g., conveyor/roller drives, vacuum system support, ovens/heaters, power distribution, control panels, process interlocks, and safety systems) while maintaining full compliance with EHS, quality, and company standards.
    Key ResponsibilitiesPerform PM and breakdown maintenance on panels, MCCs, VFD/soft starters, motors, sensors, and coating line equipment.Troubleshoot conveyor drives, gear motors, PLC I/O (Siemens basic), interlocks, temperature controllers (RTD/TC), and pneumatic-electrical systems.Operate and monitor 20 kV panels, transformers, and 400 V distribution systems.Perform safe power maneuver and blackout recovery procedures.Ensure power stability (overheating, loose connections, phase imbalance).Implement Electrical Safety & LOTO, including PWT and basic WI preparation.Inspect panels, grounding, and safety systems (E-stop, interlocks).Use measuring tools: thermal gun, clamp meter, megger, power meter.Support commissioning, startup, and contractor coordination.Escalate quality or safety findings and ensure proper issue closure.Prepare shift reports and coordinate with Production, Mechanical, and Process teams.Support TPM and continuous improvement (MTBF/MTTR).


    RequirementsDiploma in Electrical/Mechatronics.3–5 years industrial electrical maintenance experience (preferably coating/conveyor/vacuum line).Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of LOTO and electrical safety standards.Willing to work rotating shifts and at heights (medically fit).Able to communicate in English (spoken and written) for coordination, reporting, and communication with vendors/contractors.
