Position OverviewWe're looking for a Sales Engineer to sell industrial water treatment systems and coating solutions to industrial clients. You'll leverage your chemical engineering background to assess water quality needs, propose technical solutions, and manage projects from tender through commissioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site assessments to analyze client water quality requirements and identify treatment challengesProvide technical consultation on water treatment processes, system design, and chemical specificationsRecommend appropriate water treatment systems based on client applications and water chemistryPrepare detailed technical proposals including system specifications, treatment capacity, and cost analysisParticipate in tender processes and competitive bidding for water treatment projectsCollaborate with engineering team on system design and customization for specific client needsOversee project execution from contract award through equipment delivery, installation, and commissioningConduct water quality testing and system performance validationProvide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization recommendationsIdentify opportunities for spare parts sales, consumables, and system upgrades with existing clientsBuild long-term relationships with plant managers, engineers, and procurement teams through regular site visitsTrack sales pipeline and achieve individual revenue targets
Required QualificationsBachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Fresh Graduates are welcome to applyAt least 2 years of working experienceWillingness to travel to client sites in Semarang and other cities 30% of the time

Work Environment & LocationBased in Semarang with ~8 client site visits/week within Greater Semarang area or other citiesReports to General Manager of Sales. Partners with a technician responsible for installation. Responsible for ~50 clients (initially start with 5-10 clients).
