What skills and experience do you need?Education • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.• Preferred or Specialized: Master’s degree or relevant professional certification will be considered an advantage.Experience • Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within a Fixed Process Plant or Concentrator environment.• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supervisor, Superintendent, Section Head, or equivalent leadership role.• Proven experience handling the following:o Process plant equipment rebuild and overhaulo Workshop rebuild and fabricationo Lubrication management system• Experience in site-wide support (mining, utilities, smelter) is a strong advantageTechnical Competency • Be able to lead rebuild and overhaul activities of process plant equipment to achieve required reliability and performance targets.• Be able to manage workshop rebuild and mechanical fabrication processes, including welding, machining, fitting, and structural fabrication.• Be able to implement an effective lubrication management system covering lubrication best practices, oil analysis, contamination control, and OEM standards.• Be able to apply reliability engineering principles, including RCFA, MTBF analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.• Be able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to support maintenance and fabrication execution.• Be able to lead multi-disciplinary maintenance teams through effective leadership, coaching, and people management.• Be able to plan and schedule maintenance activities while controlling priorities to minimize plant downtime.• Be able to utilize CMMS systems for maintenance planning, budgeting, cost control, and spare parts management.• Be able to prepare technical reports and maintenance KPI analysis for management decision-making.• Be able to enforce HSE, environmental, and permit-to-work requirements across workshop and plant operations.• Be able to implement LOTO, risk assessment, and job safety analysis to ensure safe maintenance execution.• Be able to coordinate site-wide mechanical maintenance support across mining, utilities, and smelter operations.• Be able to utilize CMMS systems (SAP, Pronto, Maximo, or equivalent) to plan, monitor, and report mechanical maintenance activities.

Some of your duties will include:Rapidly respond to aircraft emergencies, including fires, crashes, and hazardous material incidents.Operate and drive emergency vehicles to the scene of an incident.Perform firefighting operations, including extinguishing fires and rescuing trapped individuals.Provide medical aid and first response services to injured persons until advanced medical personnel arrive.Conduct regular inspections of aircraft to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.Perform routine checks and maintenance on ARFF vehicles and firefighting equipment to ensure operational readiness.Ensure adherence to aviation safety regulations and industry standards.Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, equipment maintenance, and other relevant activities.Able to explain knowledge of fire pumps, fire extinguishing tactics and techniques, knowledge of the main duties and functions of aviation accident rescue and firefighting personnel (PKP-PK).Able to explain, implement and analyze emergency service and aviation safety regulations related to airports. Able to develop and evaluate emergency suspension procedure.To carry out vehicle maintenance, supporting equipment and operational support ARFF. Can explain and operate the main vehicle PKP-PK type foam tender type I, Il, Ul, IV, V, V, Vl, RIV, fire fighting boat, supporting vehicles and supporting equipment. Able to operate watchroom equipment (radio communication equipment). Able to explain the knowledge of human factors for PKP-PK (human factors for ARFF) personnel. Involves managing a team of ARFF personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting training, and maintaining equipment.

In-depth knowledge of firefighting techniques, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions in emergency situations.Proficiency in operating ARFF vehicles and equipment.
