We are looking for individuals to help collect first-person (egocentric) video data to support the training of next-generation humanoid robots.
This project involves performing simple everyday household activities while wearing a smartphone, GoPro, or recording glasses mounted on your head using a headband or mount (detailed instructions will be provided).
This is a one-time project, with potential for repeat work based on video quality and compliance.

You will record first-person videos in different areas of a home while performing natural daily tasks.

Can be your own home or a family/friend’s home (if it meets requirements)

All recordings must be done with a smartphone, GoPro, or recording glasses mounted at head level
Handheld, tripod, or surface-mounted recordings are NOT allowed
A true first-person (egocentric) perspective is mandatory
📱 Requirements
Smartphone, GoPro, or recording glasses capable of at least 1080p resolution (4K preferred)
Ability to securely mount or strap the device on your head
Home environment with kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom
Good lighting (natural or artificial)
Ability to follow simple instructions
Comfort with first-person recording
Your face is NOT required
🎥 Deliverables
You will submit approximately 4 hours of raw video footage:
Kitchen: 60 minutes
Bedroom: 60 minutes
Living room: 60 minutes
General household tasks: 60 minutes

📌 Video Length Rules
Minimum video length: Over 2 minutes
Maximum video length: 10–20 minutes per clip
Lighting may be bright, low, or mixed, but videos must not be too dark.All actions and objects must be clearly visible throughout the video frames.
📐 Video Format Requirements
Minimum Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (1080p)
Orientation: Landscape only
Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (widescreen)
Frame Rate: Minimum 30 FPS (60 FPS preferred)
Camera Angle: Slight downward angle (approximately 10–15°)
Zoom: Wide-angle (0.5× preferred; closest available wide option acceptable)

🎬 Video Guidelines
First-person (egocentric) view only
Natural camera movement is acceptable
Clear handling of objects (clarity matters more than speed)
Hands and objects must be visible throughout
Follow provided task sheets, sample videos, and SOP guidelines
Normal daily pace (no acting or scripting)
Submit raw, unedited recordings only

Slow-motion or timelapse recordings
Handheld, tripod, or surface-mounted devices
Blurry, shaky, or out-of-focus footage
Faces (including reflections in mirrors or photos)
Any personal information, documents, or IDs visible
Edited, trimmed, filtered, or compressed videos
Idle time more than 3 seconds or inactive periods
Walking around the environment without performing any task

Audio is NOT required
Silent videos are acceptable
Speaking is not necessary

A simple checklist form must be completed after recording

Your face is never required
No personal identity information is needed
Other people may appear incidentally in the background
Avoid capturing sensitive or personal information
Videos remain confidential
Used only for AI research and humanoid robot training
This project does not involve surveillance or hidden recording
⏱️ Time Commitment & Payment Structure
4 hours of actual video recording data required
Up to 8 hours total allocated (includes preparation, setup, and review)
Payment will be made as a fixed-price milestone covering a total of 8 hours of work and will be released after successful Quality Control (QC) validation
✅ Quality Check (QC) Policy
All submitted videos will undergo a quality review
If any portion is rejected due to quality issues, the contributor must re-record the rejected duration
Re-recording must match the same task or scenario type
Re-recording, if required, is considered part of the agreed fixed-price milestone
