📌 Airfreight Manager – Based in Cengkareng 📍 Aeroville Office (formerly known as Soewarna Business Park) – Cengkareng, Jakarta | Full-Tiime M&M Militzer & Münch Indonesia is seeking an experienced Airfreight Manager to lead and oversee our airfreight operations across import and export activities.
This role will focus on ensuring operational excellence, service reliability, and strong coordination with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day airfreight operations while supporting the continued growth and development of our airfreight business.
This position will be based at our airport office located within the Aeroville area in Cengkareng (formerly known as Soewarna Business Park), supporting operational activities in close proximity to Jakarta’s main international air cargo gateway. 🛠 Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily airfreight import and export operations. Ensure smooth coordination with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and internal departments. Monitor shipment execution to ensure timely handling and service quality. Manage operational performance, shipment visibility, and issue resolution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines and service providers. Ensure compliance with airfreight regulations, security requirements, and company SOPs. Support commercial and operational teams with airfreight solutions and service improvements. Supervise and develop the airfreight team to achieve operational and performance targets. ✅ Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in airfreight operations or airfreight management within the freight forwarding industry. Strong understanding of import/export airfreight processes and airline operations. Experience managing operational teams and handling time-sensitive shipments. Good knowledge of air cargo documentation, regulations, and cargo handling procedures. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
