  • Assistant Project Manager

    Minor Food is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Assistant Project Manager in Indonesia, eager to contribute to the growth of our business as a leading global F&B player.
    Main Responsibilities: Project Planning and Design Support:Collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams in developing planning and design documents for outlet projects.Assist in conducting feasibility assessments, concept development, and design management according to “Brand guidelines”Contribute to the development of detailed project proposals, including scope, timeframe, and budget.Ensure design standards and guidelines are consistently applied to all aspects of project development.
    Project Management Assistance:Support the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of projects, including client relations, budgeting, and defining scopes of work.Collaborate with the franchise team and related parties to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    Design Standard Compliance:Monitor and enforce adherence to established design standards, ensuring all project components align with the brand’s aesthetic and functional requirements.Provide input and oversight on design elements during project development and execution phases.Coordinate with the design teams and external consultants to maintain brand consistency across all projects.
    Supplier Coordination:Assist in coordinating with suppliers and providing support in directing their activities to meet requirements.
    Construction Support:Support the Project Manager in managing, coordinating, and facilitating site construction activities.
    Communication and Reporting Assistance:Collaborate in regular communication with executive management and administration regarding project status.Assist in obtaining executive guidance and approval for project initiatives as needed.
    Job SpecificationQualification:Bachelor degree in Architecture or relevant majorTotal 5 years of working experience in project management/ Design.Strong Interior Design Skills & project management skillsGood command of spoken and written English.Computer literacy (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Illustrator, and MS Office).Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong skills in driving for results and able to work to tight deadlines.Digital and technology savvy.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Self-motivated, punctual and reliable.Attention to details.

    Job Description• Recap and monitor petty cash transactions from stores/outlets.• Communicate and follow up with stores regarding petty cash shortages, discrepancies, or missing documents.• Assist in AP reconciliation and ensure supporting documents are complete and accurate.• Understand and assist with basic accounting journal entries.• Organize and maintain accounting documents and filing systems properly.• Support the finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as requested by supervisors.

    Responsibilities:• Manage and monitor Purchase Requests (PRs) for Project departments, and track Purchase Orders (POs) through the system from submission to Goods Receipt (GR) and payment updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring proper version control and accessibility across teams.• Support project coordination by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items.• Monitor project progress and assist in updating status reports and project tracking tools.• Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.• Perform data entry and assist with procurement records, budgeting, and expense tracking (if needed).

    Key Responsibilities:1.Bank Reconciliation:• Match AP and AR transactions with bank statements and escalate all outstanding transactions to and resolve issues with MGS Accounting AR team for deposit, MGS Accounting AP team for payments• Transfer to GL and make adjustments as necessary (e.g. bank charges, petty cash,returned salary)2. Month-End Closing:• Prepaid and accrued expenses• Record all pre-paid and accrued expenses into GL, allocate expenses by BU and post to GL, check variance by comparing Trial Balance for current month with previous month, and resolve issues as necessary• Close P&L and Balance Sheet• Obtain information from all MGS Accounting teams (e.g. Inventory, Fixed Asset, AP, AR, etc.) and BU (e.g. Sales team), input statistical data (e.g. Number of shops opened/closed, staff movement etc.), input recurring expenses and standard journals (e.g. audit fee, tax and license fee) into the system, generate final P&L and Balance Sheet, and prepare document support for financial highlights (e.g. AR aging report)3. Balance Sheet Breaking Details:• Review results of reconciliation with other modules to match with Trial Balance, reconcile bank statements with all other accrued expenses not in AP (e.g. audit fee, KPIs and bonuses), feedback to originator if any issues identified and check for any mistakes and make adjustments as necessary4. Reconcile Corporate Income Tax (CIT):• Extract Net Income from the system (currently ESB) to generate Corporate Income Tax (CIT)• Reconcile CIT with Balance Sheet and record in the system5. GL System or Process:• Identify improvement opportunities in systems and processes• Develop, implement, and report on improvement initiatives6. Other tasks as required
    Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant fields• Min. 4 years of GL or accounting experience• Strong Excel and accounting system skills• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines• Experienced in retail or F&B industry (preferred)• Able to join as soon as possible
