We’re looking for a hands-on RF Systems Integration Engineer to take ownership of the physical build and validation of advanced mobile communication systems. This role is focused on real-world integration—rack builds, RF interconnects, power systems, and performance validation—not purely design or simulation work. If your experience is grounded in lab, bench, or field work rather than purely theoretical design, this will be a strong fit.
Responsibilities
System Integration & AssemblyLead mechanical and electrical integration of RF modules, power distribution systems, and thermal hardware into ruggedized rack systemsBuild and wire complete systems to production-quality standards
RF InterconnectsDesign and fabricate RF cable assemblies using SMA, N-Type, and similar connectorsEnsure low-loss signal paths with proper torque application and handling of semi-rigid and low-loss coax
Power Systems & SafetyConfigure multi-rail DC power distribution systemsImplement grounding, protection, and safety best practices for sensitive RF equipment
System Validation & TestingPerform system bring-up (“smoke tests”) and end-to-end validationMeasure and optimize VSWR, insertion loss, and overall RF performanceConduct thermal and stress testing under operational loads
Data & NetworkingConfigure high-speed interfaces (10GbE, SFP+, DAC/fiber)Optimize data throughput between radios and compute systemsUse Linux command-line tools for system configuration and diagnostics
DocumentationMaintain detailed build records, wiring diagrams, and test reportsSupport repeatable, production-ready integration processes
Qualifications
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in RF hardware integration (telecom, defence, aerospace, or industrial systems)Strong practical skills in: Soldering and industrial wiring, RF connectors (SMA, N-Type, etc.)Proven experience with RF test equipment: Spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), and Power metersWorking knowledge of: 10GbE networking and SFP+ interfaces, Linux command-line tools, and has Experience working with high-density electronic systems and thermal constraintsStrong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, hands-on approach to diagnosing hardware, RF, and system-level issuesHigh attention to detail with the ability to produce clean, production-quality builds and maintain proper documentationFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., IPC standards, RF handling practices, safety protocols) is an advantageExperience supporting field deployment, installation, or commissioning of RF systems is a strong advantageDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or related field (practical experience is prioritized over purely academic background)Professional certifications (e.g., RF certifications, networking certifications, or safety certifications) are a plus Note: This role is not suitable for fresh graduates. We are specifically seeking candidates with proven, hands-on industry experience.
