JOB DESCRIPTION:Support the setup and commissioning of battery production lines, including equipment installation and process validationDevelop, implement, and optimize battery manufacturing processes (e.g., cell assembly, formation, aging, and testing)Monitor daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production targetsTroubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtimeEnsure all production processes comply with safety, quality, and environmental standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to improve overall manufacturing performanceAnalyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and yield enhancementSupport the development of SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation for battery productionTrain operators and technicians on battery manufacturing processes and best practicesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:FemaleBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field)Minimum 4 years of experience in a battery manufacturing companyHands-on experience in battery production processesExperience in setting up or scaling up a production line is a strong advantageAble to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesFluent in English (both written and spoken)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and control production processes in real-time using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.Expertise in the use of sensors (temperature, pressure, voltage, current, etc.) to monitor the performance of the manufacturing process and detect faults.Managing maintenance resources effectively, including spare parts, tools, and technicians.Apply expertise in the maintenance and optimization of material handling systems, such as conveyors and lifts, used to move components through the production line.Reading electrical diagrams, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems involved in the battery manufacturing process.Coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal machine utilization.Managing the maintenance budget for the battery manufacturing line, making cost-effective decisions about repairs, parts, and equipment upgrades.
REQUIREMENTSA bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Fluent in EnglishProficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.Strong understanding of machinery maintenance principles, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting for automation in manufacturing equipment.Familiarity with automated systems and robotics used in the manufacturing process.
