About the Head of Bancassurance Strategy (VP) position:
Lead the preparation and implementation of research and studies related to customer behavior, market potential, competitiveness, and partnership opportunities for Bancassurance products and services.Develop, communicate, implement, and continuously improve Bancassurance business strategies, business models, products, services, policies, programs, and partnerships.Monitor and evaluate the Bancassurance business cost budget to ensure effective and efficient resource utilization.Translate business targets into actionable plans; monitor and evaluate the performance of Bancassurance Heads of Sales and Regional Heads.Lead the preparation and negotiation of business agreements with partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes aligned with company policies.Oversee sales quality assurance by internalizing company core values and market conduct, and ensuring accountability for fraud, mis-selling, and other compliance violations.Manage and monitor the resolution of violation cases related to the Bancassurance business, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions.Supervise license and contract administration for the Bancassurance sales team, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.Oversee operational management (compensation, benefits, and sales support) and manage the internal Help Desk to ensure seamless support for sales activities.
Skills and experience needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in Bancassurance, Insurance Strategy, or Financial Services, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.Strong understanding of bancassurance operations, partnership management, and business development in the Indonesian life insurance market.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial monitoring, and cross-functional leadership.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to lead teams, manage complexity, and deliver strategic outcomes.
