Join PT GII / Geobotica as a Field Services Engineer deploying monitoring systems in underground mining and geohazard environments. You’ll be part of a fast-moving technology company working with remote sensing and robotics to reduce real-world risk. This is a field-based, hands-on role — not a desk job.You’ll be installing equipment, troubleshooting systems, solving technical issues on-site, and ensuring systems operate reliably in demanding industrial environments.
What you'll be doing:Installing and deploying monitoring systems underground and on-siteWiring, mounting, configuring, and testing hardware and accessoriesTroubleshooting electrical, networking, and system issuesPerforming mechanical assembly and field adjustmentsDiagnosing and solving technical problems under real-world conditionsSupporting customers during installation and operationTraveling for site deployments across Indonesia and internationally
Who you are:Has hands-on mechanical skills and is confident using hand and power tools for equipment installation and adjustmentsHas practical experience in field engineering, electrical work, system installation, auto-electrical, or technical supportHas worked in mining or industrial environments (underground experience is highly preferred)Understands basic networking, computers, and electrical systemsCan troubleshoot problems independently and stay calm under pressureFluent spoken and written English is required for this role due to regular communication with international teams and customers — PLEASE DO NOT APPLY if you are not fluent. Is willing to travel frequently
A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mining Engineering, or a related field is preferred — but strong hands-on experience is equally valued.
