Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor, operate, and maintain plating production equipment (electroplating lines, rectifiers, tanks, hoists, filtration systems).Ensure machine readiness and availability to meet production schedules.Conduct regular equipment inspection and performance evaluation.Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for plating machinery and facility utilities.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues on plating equipment.Coordinate with spare‑part suppliers and contractors when requiredEnsure plating operations comply with HSE, ISO 14001, and local environmental regulations.Support safe handling, storage, and disposal of plating chemicals.Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency response drillsMaintain maintenance records, machine history, calibration records, and SOPs.Prepare breakdown reports, preventive maintenance reports, and improvement proposals.Support internal and external audits.
Job Requirement & QualificationWilling to be based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.Good communication skills in English.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Plating or water treatment process environmentsFacilities or machinery maintenance in plating / surface treatment / manufacturing environment.Good Understanding Electroplating process & equipment.Good understanding Electrical systems (panel, rectifier, motor) & Mechanical systems (pump, hoist, conveyor)Able to read electrical and mechanical drawingsBasic troubleshooting PLC or control systems (advantage).Knowledge of chemical safety, environmental regulations, and waste managementFamiliar with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / 5S implementationStrong problem‑solving and analytical skills

Position OverviewQuality Engineer directly reporting to Quality Manager / Snr. Quality Engineer and will be responsible for all activities relating to Automotive NPIs and mass production Quality Assurance.
Main ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of Quality Assurance activities related to NPIs of Automotive parts to ensure that respective KPIs are met.Identify gaps and risk in current operations against respective QMS and recommend improvement actions to management & lead the execution with cross-functional team.Responsible to handle customer quality as key contact point focusing on achieving customer specific requirements.Monitor Customer milestones, quality / delivery performance and establish improvement plan to achieve respective targets.Handle delivery/quality related complaints / feedback through systematic problem-solving techniques and drive for preventive actions.Lead the quality assurance aspects of Automotive New Projects as well as in change management for existing automotive projects.Ensure the documentation compliance for all IATF core tools like SPC, MSA, CP, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, including the ones from external suppliers.Conduct training to internal process owners on Customer Requirements, QMS and other QC tools.
Job Requirements & QualificationUniversity Degree / Diploma in Engineering background or equivalent.Quality Assurance Experience in Manufacturing industry for > 3 years.Hands-on experience in IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, TISAX QMS is highly preferred.Candidates having working experience in Tier 1 automotive / medical sector Manufacturing industries will have a better chance.Certified QMS Internal Auditors are preferred.Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Indonesia knowledge will be an added advantage.Commendable problem-solving skills, logical and analytical mindset, i.e. good skill in 7QC tools, 8D methodology, 5-why analysis, Kaizen, Lean and 6-Sigma etc.Competent in using computer and report writings, Microsoft Office, and Web-based system.Responsible person with Flexibility in term of working hours and should be able to work under certain levels of pressure.
