  • Accounts Payable Intern (4 months)

    Key Responsibilities:Review and manage folders assigned to the AP Executive.Update status for processed emails.Record invoices and prepayments in the working file, ensuring reconciliation with TourPlan.Track and update AP discrepancies in both TourPlan and the shared worklist.Coordinate with Reservations/Operations teams to follow up on overdue and upcoming payments.Post invoices accurately into the TourPlan system.Run automated email notifications to inform suppliers of payments.Record bank payments and VCC (Virtual Credit Card) payments in TourPlan, and update the shared worklist accordingly.Prepare payment files for review and share with seniors.Provide comments and insights on monthly aging reports.Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by seniors. About youDiploma in Finance (or current students pursuing a Finance degree/diploma).Strong written and verbal communication skills in both the national language and English.Intermediate proficiency in Excel.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; prior experience with TourPlan is an advantage.

  • Accounts Payable Executive  

    - Bali

    About The PositionAs the Accounts Payable Executive, you control Discova’s Accounts Payable process and ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner. In your role, you will register, control and administer the accounts payable with the company's suppliers in order to settle the services provided by them in their favor in a timely manner. You will be part of Global Finance Shared Service and help to support Discova’s growth and achieve its strategy.
    Key Responsibilities: Supervision of electronic invoices for the countries under your remit.Supervise the posting of the tours and transportation invoices.Review of information on the content of the tax invoice vs the Booking Voucher of the Tourplan System, the amount (cost), number of services, tax and total amount of the invoice must coincide.Verify that the invoices are posted in their respective cost-expense accounts.Clarify invoice mismatches, making invoice reconciliation with TourplanPrepare and supervise the weekly calendars for the payment proposal to suppliers for countries under your remit.Coordinate the payment date with treasury and finance departments.Prepare payments to suppliers in national and/or foreign currency.Regularly review aging invoices and make payments in line with payment date.Prepare and supervise the weekly calendars for the payment proposal to suppliers for the three countries.Prepare the AP ageing to identify the oldest invoices that need to be paid to the different suppliers of the company.Support the Month End closing in countries of remit.Verify that the invoicing process is in order to proceed with the proper reports and accounting closing.
    The Essential: Minimum qualification of a diploma in finance.Minimum of two years of experience in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance Shared Services.Written and verbal fluency in both national language and English.Intermediate Excel skills.Being proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Tourplan experience would be an advantage.
    Skills and Attributes: Outstanding communication skills with strong customer care focus.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible and implement change when needed.Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).High attention to detail.Be able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.Be comfortable with a flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings.Solution focused and great at problem solving.Able to work independently and within a team, assisting team members to help everyone achieve results.Willing to travel on business when required.Be personally aligned with Discova’s company purpose and values.
