MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCY:A bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science, preferably mechanical engineering, with minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the electronic & automotive industry, is an advantage.Must possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to work hands-on. Must be familiar with process design, risk reduction & Reverse Process failure mode analysis (PFMEA), Control PLAN (CP), LEAN manufacturing concept, Problem solving analysis, Error proofing and APQP.A passionate, dynamic engineer dedicated to excelling at meeting customer’s satisfaction Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential focused on continuous improvements.Possess Six sigma green belts is an advantage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design process and set up production lines, develop fixtures with external suppliers. NPI includes mass production.Evaluate, improve process capability, Line balancing and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.Supports Maintenance in machine repair and problem resolution as required. Write, maintain and update live PFD, PFMEA, CP & work instructions.LEAD problem solving analysis with related membersMaintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
