Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in ECC to S/4HANA upgrades, particularly in FI transformation and data migration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in activating FI changes required for S/4HANA compatibility, working with SNP data migration tools, and managing large-scale asset migration and depreciation processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade activities focusing on the FI module.Activate and configure FI changes required for S/4HANA compatibility, including data model adjustments and finance simplification.Work closely with data migration teams using SNP (CrystalBridge / Bluefield approach) for selective data transition.Define and validate data migration criteria, especially for open transactions (open AR/AP, GL balances, and other financial objects).Manage and execute large-scale asset data migration, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation.Handle asset accounting processes, including asset capitalization, transfers, and depreciation calculations in S/4HANA.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities during migration cycles.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, CO) to ensure seamless integration during upgrade.Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization.Provide functional documentation and knowledge transfer to business users.
Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting.Proven experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion or upgrade projects.Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance (FI) changes, including data structures and simplification items.Hands-on experience with SNP data migration tools (e.g., CrystalBridge, Bluefield approach).Deep knowledge of data migration strategies, especially handling open transactions and historical data.Extensive experience in Asset Accounting (AA), including mass asset migration and depreciation handling.Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, and financial closing processes.Experience in data reconciliation and validation during migration cycles.Good understanding of integration with CO, MM, and SD modules.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
