  • Senior Financial Data Analyst - ID26002

    Job descriptionWe are seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst with a strong background in accounting or audit to join the Acclime team. This person will be responsible for bridging the gap between financial subject-matter expertise and data analytics helping ensure our insights are grounded, accurate, and relevant to decision-makers.You will work closely with local finance teams across Asia, our Group Finance team, and the Data Engineering team to design, test, and deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
    Key ResponsibilitiesPerform reconciliations across multiple financial datasets, including local ledgers, billing systems, and consolidated reportsWork with messy and incomplete datasets, ensuring data accuracy and resolving inconsistenciesCollaborate with local finance teams to validate data, understand business context, and improve data qualityAnalyse key financial metrics such as revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, cost allocations, and client profitabilityDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end dashboards in Power BI from raw data modelling to final visualizationDevelop and optimise data models to support scalable and high-performance reportingTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholdersParticipate in discussions with Group Finance and Country HeadsContribute to data governance and continuous improvement initiatives within the Atlas projectNon-Negotiable Technical RequirementsAdvanced Power BI skills (data modelling, relationships, performance optimisation)Strong DAX capabilities (measures, calculated tables, time intelligence)Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions, data transformation)Proven experience working with multi-entity and multi-source datasetsExperience handling imperfect, messy, or incomplete dataDemonstrated ability to build end-to-end dashboards (from raw data to final output)RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA / CA qualification (mandatory)Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting, audit, FP&A, or related rolesStrong understanding of financial statements and consolidated reportingExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work directly with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictionsDesirable (Nice to Have)Experience with data pipelines or ETL tools (e.g., ADF, Fabric, dbt)Experience in professional services, shared services, or M&A environmentsFamiliarity with data engineering concepts and data structures
